Kyoko Porcino

I have been a practicing ceramist for nearly twenty years.

The process can be challenging and frustrating, but I take encouragement and inspiration from my friends at Terra Linda Ceramics Studio.

Sometimes when a piece has been particularly difficult, and my expectations are the lowest, the Goddess of the Kiln winks at me, and I'm surprised and delighted at the result.

These unexpected gems are some of my favorite pieces, and they inspire me to carry on and evolve my process.
